Painting entitled 'Urban Landscape'
- Description
-
Norman Parker describes his work as neo-Surrealism; surrealist imagery but without the Surrealist ideology. I like exploring the marvellous and irrational; in finding beauty in strange thingsê. This painting is a tribute to R J O Meyer, the founder of Millfield School in Street in 1935, whose favourite sky this was. Norman Parker has lived and worked in Street since 1963. Glastonbury Tor has featured in over 100 of his paintings.
