Description
This mosaic panel shows two hunters returning home after a successful day with a deer slung on a pole. Below them is their hunting dog. The mosaic comes from a Roman villa and may reflect the villa ownerês love of hunting. The huntersê clothes are typical of the second half of the 4th century AD.
