Medallion commemorating the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria

Description
In 1897 Queen Victoria became the first monarch to celebrate a Diamond Jubilee. Aged 78, Victoria celebrated this achievement by attending events across the county. Taunton's Mayor W Lock felt that the best way for the town to mark the occassion was to issue a medallion which featured the bust of the queen and the arms of Taunton.
