Reginald Henry Bean is shown with his wife Emma Lucas and three children Anna Louisa, John Rodbard and Henry Lucas. Emma was the daughter of John Robert Lucas who founded the Nailsea Crown Glass and Bottle Manufacturers in 1788. The family are shown on Backwell Hill and in the distance you can see Worle Hill, Steep Holm and the Bristol Channel.
